Day 1: Fes to the Golden Dunes of Merzouga

Your 4-day desert expedition starts with a morning pickup in Fes. We journey through the Middle Atlas, stopping at Azrou’s cedar forests to see wild Barbary monkeys. After a scenic lunch in Midelt—nestled between two mountain ranges—we descend into the lush Ziz Valley. By late afternoon, we reach the edge of the Sahara. Mount your camel for a trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness a spectacular sunset. The night concludes at our desert camp with a traditional dinner, Berber drumming, and a bonfire under the stars.

Day 2: Deep Desert Exploration & Nomad Life

Today is dedicated to discovering the secrets of the Sahara. After breakfast, we visit a local village to experience the soul-stirring Gnaoua music and lifestyle. We’ll explore the historic Miffis Mines and venture deep into the dunes to share a cup of tea with local Bedouin families, learning about their ancient traditions. You’ll have the afternoon to relax or explore the dunes further before spending another magical night in the heart of the desert.

Day 3: Rissani, Canyons & The Dades Valley

Wake up early for a sunrise that paints the dunes in vibrant colors. After breakfast and a shower, we depart for Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty. We then head to the Todra Gorges, Morocco’s highest and narrowest canyon, where you can walk along the river and enjoy the cool mountain air. After lunch, we drive through the winding roads of the Dades Valley, stopping at the famous "monkey fingers" rock formations before checking into your mountain-view hotel.

Day 4: Kasbahs & The High Atlas to Marrakech

​

On our final day, we journey toward the "Hollywood of Morocco," Ouarzazate, to see the Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Studios. We’ll then explore the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for Gladiator. Our route home takes us through the historic Telouet Kasbah and across the majestic Tizi N’Tichka Pass. We’ll arrive in Marrakech by 7:00 PM, leaving you with memories of a lifetime.
