Terms of Service

Welcome to Chamed Tours. By booking a tour or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking and Contract

A booking is confirmed once Chamed Tours receives your initial deposit and sends a written confirmation. The contract is between Chamed Tours ("we," "us," or "our") and the traveler ("you").

2. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices: All prices are quoted in the currency specified at the time of booking.

  • Deposit: A deposit is required to secure your reservation.

  • Final Balance: The remaining balance must be paid as agreed—either via our secure online portal prior to arrival or in cash (EUR, USD, or MAD) upon meeting your driver/guide on the first day of the tour.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans change. Our standard cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations made 30+ days before departure: Full refund of the deposit (minus any non-refundable bank fees or third-party costs).

  • Cancellations made 15–29 days before departure: 50% of the deposit is forfeited.

  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before departure: The deposit is non-refundable.

  • Note: Special conditions may apply during peak seasons (Ramadan, Aid Adha, New Year).

4. Changes to Itineraries

While we strive to follow the planned itinerary, Morocco is a land of surprises. Chamed Tours reserves the right to modify routes, accommodations, or transport due to weather, road closures, or safety concerns. We will always provide an alternative of equal or higher value.

5. Travel Insurance

Chamed Tours strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance. This should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and personal liability. Chamed Tours is not responsible for any costs incurred due to traveler illness, injury, or unforeseen flight changes.

6. Responsibility and Liability

  • We act as an agent for hotels, transport providers, and local camps. While we vet all partners for quality, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by these third-party providers.

  • Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have the correct visas, passports, and vaccinations required for entry into Morocco.

7. Health and Conduct

By booking, you certify that you are physically fit for the tour activities (such as camel trekking). We reserve the right to decline or remove any person from a tour if their conduct is disruptive or incompatible with the interests of the group.

8. Force Majeure

Chamed Tours is not liable for failures to perform resulting from "Acts of God" (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or civil unrest).

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Marrakech.
